1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites and apps store on your device to remember your preferences, improve performance, and understand how the service is used. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and web beacons.
2. How we use cookies
Pekerly uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure your account, analyze traffic and feature usage, and support payment and booking flows. Some cookies are essential and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
3. Types of cookies we use
- Essential: Required for authentication, security, and basic booking features.
- Preferences: Remember your language, location, and display settings.
- Analytics: Help us understand how visitors use Pekerly so we can improve the experience. We use Plausible, which sets no cookies and collects no personal data. Section 5 turns it off.
4. Third-party cookies
We work with trusted service providers for hosting, payments, analytics, and security. These providers may set their own cookies subject to their privacy policies. We do not sell cookie data to advertisers.
5. Managing your tracking preferences
You can manage cookies through your browser settings at any time. Essential cookies and storage cannot be turned off without affecting your ability to sign in or complete bookings. The one non-essential thing we load is usage analytics, and you can switch it off here:
Usage analytics
We use Plausible, which counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data. You can still switch it off.
Checking your preference…
This setting is stored in this browser only, so it does not carry across to your other devices. Clearing site data resets it.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our services or applicable laws change. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
7. Contact us
